Similarly, our partnership with the Housing Solutions Network in Jefferson County has been instrumental in quantifying the urgency of the housing crisis. Through their comprehensive survey, we’re gaining a deeper understanding of the desired housing types, sizes, locations, and amenities that would best serve the needs of local residents. Armed with this data, we can make more informed decisions and better align our initiatives with the community’s priorities.
Unlocking the Door to Homeownership
One of our most exciting projects to date is the Dundee Hill development, a collaboration with a generous local supporter in Port Townsend. This initiative will bring five new, permanently affordable homes to the community, giving first-time homebuyers an opportunity to establish roots and build their futures in the places they love.
But the Dundee Hill project is just the beginning. The Olympic Housing Trust is committed to expanding our reach and exploring a diverse array of housing solutions, from workforce rentals and intentional housing developments to mobile or tiny home communities and small multi-family units. Our goal is to create a tapestry of affordable options that cater to the unique needs and aspirations of every individual and family in Clallam County.
